THE MASTERPIECE LAUNCH

This freedom day Ntsiki Mazwai brings the launch of her third studio album to the Soweto theatre.  This is Ntsiki’s third studio recorded album and comes after somewhat of a hiatus as she focused on her studies and accomplished her masters cum laude in Literature –thus the title ‘The Masterpiece.

Working with a team predominantly from Soweto she hopes to inspire more artists to take ownership of the ‘ghetto’ and bring life to it. For the past couple of months Ntsiki has been working with Zola born producer DJ E-Siah on a multi faceted 12 track album that captures the spirit of Soweto. She features her ‘favourite elder,’ Pops Mohamed as well as upcoming beatboxer Napotron.

The Masterpiece launch promises to be an evening of great beauty and quality entertainment. One can expect poetry, music, dance and a celebration of art like no other. This freedom day ‘The Masterpiece’ will show the glory of African people. Join us:
